The Sisyphean Spinal Society is a Non-Profit organization developed by physicians for physicians, dedicated to research and emerging trends in new technologies. Developed for physicians by physicians, the society commits itself to improving the lives of those suffering from spinal maladies.
The prime purpose of Argos is to promote applied research in spinal surgery. Surgeons, researchers and implant manufacturers are involved in communication, training and evaluation activities in the organization. The combined expertise of this top level partnership allows these orientations to be consolidated and their development fostered. Each activity is tied to a specific committee, an advisory board that coordinates the actions undertaken by the various national groups.
Since 2000, Inspiration (International Spine Research and Innovation) gathers a community of expert spine surgeons from all continents. The interactive annual meeting allows attendees to exchange their experiences with spinal disorders in round table sessions. The limited number of participants associated to the conviviality of each event makes this network a powerful tool to help the spine surgeons in making their decision among the increasing number of technological options.
